Location

Our workshops are hosted in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island Canada. We are a 15 min. walk to Malaspina University and the same distance to several bus routes. Most busses can accommodate bicycles as well. There is free parking across the street.

We are also across from Colliery Dam Park which contains a wide variety of plants and animals typical to mixed-age coastal temperate rainforest. There are two lakes and a stream. The park also has historical significance for the First Nations and coal mining.

There is an indoor mall with 3 food outlets and grocery store within a 4 minute drive or bike ride. Malaspina also offers a student cafeteria with an award-winning culinary program that operates on weekdays. Downtown, with it's broad array of restaurants and waterfront walkway, is located a 7 minute drive way.

We offer outreach classes to other communities: on Vancouver Island- Victoria, Duncan, Port Alberni, Courtenay/Comox, Campbell River; and Delta, BC in Greater Vancouver.
