Biographies of
Conservationists/Naturalists
Several people in our history had an important role
on today's view and treatment of nature and the environment. Each experienced
significant events in their lives that made them feel closer to nature. As a
result, they dedicated much of their lives to changing how the general
population viewed nature. Many of them also spent time educating people about
human impact on nature through speaking, writing and other efforts. This love
of nature is contagious. Choose a link to meet these important figures.
